| Well, if you have fibromyalgia and cannot work, opportunities offered on the Web Opportunities Page might be a good place to start. If you file for SSDI, Hire an attorney who will work to help you win your case and enroll in programs like the ones I mention on the Disability page. The cost is nominal compared to invaluable information and assistance you will receive. If someone you know has FM you can support them a great deal just by being there, listening and most importantly -believing! If they are trying to get a website going, help them by telling all of your friends about it and ask them to check it out. If they offer Awareness Jewelry on their site purchase a piece to show your support. Make a donation to their site to help keep offset their expense of running it or click on their affiliate sites and make a purchase because they will make a small percentage. If they are too sick to work, this will really help them. If you would like to start your own affiliate site to earn extra income, the web opportunities page may help you. As you can see, this domain is my own and named after a place I would like to live...a deserted beach somewhere where it is warm and tropical. I have put this website together in my own time, with my own funds in order to help those like me who suffer from this terrible and painful condition. If you would like to help, know someone who can help financially such as your church or Fibro related group, please make a donation to keep this site up and running for those who may benefit from it. I have always been a proud individual, desiring to stand on my own two feet in this world; however, this illness has made that impossible. Just this week, I won my SSDI case and will begin reveiving benefits soon. Meanwhile, I have no income and in the state of Texas, I do not qualify for any assistance programs; ie, food stamps, Medicaid, TANF or Section 8 housing because I do not have minor children living in the home. So again, if you would like to help I would humbly accept your donation with a prayerful and thankful heart. Other Ways to Help I run a webstore which carries Fibromyalgia related merchandise that you can order. I make 10% off of each item sold and I am hoping that it will help bring in supplemental income until my SSDI benefits begin.
